Get ready to experience the Tulsa Zoo like you’ve never seen it before. This spring, the zoo transforms after dark into a glowing wonderland during the spectacular ZooLIGHTful lantern festival.

Hosted at the Tulsa Zoo, ZooLIGHTful invites guests to stroll through more than a mile of beautifully illuminated pathways filled with hundreds of larger-than-life animal lanterns. The dazzling displays are inspired by traditional Chinese lantern festivals and feature glowing elephants, giraffes, monkeys, pandas and more lighting up the night.

As you explore the trail, each section of the zoo offers a different themed experience. Guests can wander through glowing jungles, vibrant Asian-inspired scenes, and illuminated African wildlife displays while stopping for photo opportunities along the way.

ZooLIGHTful runs March 26 through June 7, Thursday through Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. It’s a special after-hours event, meaning the zoo comes alive in an entirely different way once the sun goes down.
