Billy Idol: Yellin’ at the Christmas Tree

On his 2005 album Devil’s Playground, Billy Idol include one single Christmas song. Yellin’ at the Christmas Tree, is one of the best Christmas songs ever. It was so popular that the following year, Idol did an entire Christmas album. A collection of mostly traditional yuletide tunes, Happy Holidays made fans less than happy. It contained none of the usual Billy Idol flair and came off sounding more like he was doing an impression of Bing Crosby. So, unless you want it as a collector’s item, you might want to forego the Billy Idol Christmas album and just listen to Yellin’ at the Christmas Tree. Check it out below.
