April 28th 2021 Dee Snider tweeted out a video of a young girl singing Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It” as a ballad.
The young girl, Anika, had uploaded the video to YouTube on April 27th 2021.
That is significant because that was the date Twisted Sister had released the song in 1984.
Dee was impressed with her performance, tweeting out this message with the video “WOW! POSITIVELY ANGELIC! HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ANIKA! YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB!”.
Anika performed the song as a ballad accompanied only by a keyboard and a violin.
Dee had also released the song as a ballad in the past as well.
